The Boreas is an original Smith & Gardner design. The Boreas was designed to paddle with a single or double blade. If you prefer paddling with a single stick, we will keep the sides high and mount a traditional webbed seat - for sitting and kneeling. If your choice is a double blade, we will trim the side walls and mount a pack canoe-styled seat and foot braces. The choice is yours! The standard lay-up is carbon fiber and Kevlar (as shown).
