This removable, sturdy ash backrest is positioned at a 15-degree angle. It converts a standard canoe seat to a comfortable "chair," allowing the paddler to lean back and still be in a position to paddle without interference. The backrest stays in place with adjustable clamps that tighten against seat rails, requiring no mounting hardware. It fits seat widths (front to back) from 9-1/4" to 10-1/4". It is compatible with a standard 10" x 13" caned or webbed seat. Similar to our ACR without the need to drill or alter seat.
